Re: What are you eating now thread?
Just had a pretty big but "off the record" meeting at Jamie's Oliviers restaurant in Birmingham. A lot of inland revenue staff a lot of Cap Gemini staff. January 31st was self assessment deadline day so we all end up working 17-18 hour days in the run up.
Fantastic time had by all 35+ of us and they even rearranged the restaurant to accommodate us, but anyway.... I had the Chicken Cacciatore as my main (no interest in posting menu or all my courses/drinks) yes I know it's cheap chain food. But it was fantastic lol.

Teriyaki chicken breast, roasted taters and parsnips. Steamed sprouts, carrot and white cabbage. Bit of fusion cooking.

If splashing teriyaki sauce on a chicken breast makes it fusion to you, you'll be amazed at what most people call fusion lol.

Eggs are good for you and don't have the cholesterol risk which has been associated with them:

A poached (or dry fried) egg and bacon with the fat cut off once a week probably wouldn't do you any harm at all. Using wholemeal bread would help too.
