Because its a subscription channel so if a bloke with Sky is paying seven quid and getting two channels but your getting one, there's a problem.

But if just the one channel gets added to the XL pack then that problem does not arise but at the moment its all strong speculation and nowt confirmation.

Media Boy updates on Premier Sports rumours.
As you may have seen DS Forum and Premier Sports Facebook page are both reporting that Premier Sports is rumoured as launching on Virgin Channel 549 by the end of this month.
I have ask my Insiders to confirmed to me if this story was true or not and I have got the following back.
Quote:
Customer Services have had no briefing on it. All deals are kept confidential until agreements are signed.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 1
In the case of "Premier Sports" - the package is 2 channels - and without Extra being available it has limited attraction with NHL (including live stuff) also being shown across both channels.
I have PS via Sky and as I type the Extra channel is showing NHL and the main PS channel is offair.
If PS is added to XL pack at no extra cost - it is still not the full service.
Exactly the same as only offering Sky Sports 1-3 really - and not letting you have 4.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 1
Just found this good point on Britain's got Talent and Amreica's got Talent who Virgin Media are sponsoring in 2012.
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...7&postcount=33
Point of view is from DS Forum.
