TBH I can't say I've notice any sync problems with any HD channels. The only issue I had was with the volume on ESPN HD (very quiet compared to SSports HD) but that seems to be sorted now. (",)

I have this issue with a Virgin Media HD box and LG 32" TV.
I have emailed itv services as well, so will let you know if they reply with anything helpful.

Well done. I hope all of us who are annoyed/effected will give them an email. It's the only way they'll take notice.

Re: ITV1 HD out of sync
Just to confuse things even more, what about this? I was watching the England rugby game on Saturday on ITV HD. When the "experts" were talking in the studio, the sound was very much out of sync with the picture, however, at the end of the game when they went to New Zealand for the live after match comments, everything was in sync. when they cut back to the studio it all went wrong again.
Confusing or what?

Re: ITV1 HD out of sync
Yes it is out of sync now, watching the build up to the England game. The picture is about 1/3 second behind the sound.
The ads are also out of sync, but the SD channel is in sync.
Time to complain again *sigh*

Re: ITV1 HD out of sync
Ticket raise where? Virgin?
I just received this reply from ITV:
"Thank you for your enquiry regarding lip sync.
I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced problems recently. Our Transmission team has advised that they have full monitoring of the audio output and no lip sync errors are currently being reported. The team has suggested that you unplug your digital equipment for 30 seconds at the mains as this will often clear any lip sync issues on HD channels."

Re: ITV1 HD out of sync
Had my Tivo installed on Monday and it's the only flaw so far; almost every channel is out of sync, esp. on HD. Problem is even worse through an AV amp. Going back if it doesn't improve.
