He absolutely flattened Judah in a masterful bit of boxing.
Timothy Bradley is way out of the question and simply wont go anywhere near Khan after this. I actually think Mayweather wouldn't want any of him either.

Yes what a great performance and it will be interesting who he fights next.

Agree on Bradley, he was ducking him before, and will duck him even more now.
Mayweather will want a fight at 147 though, and I don't think he'd be too worried about Khan at the moment, he hasn't fought at that weight and it's a fair difference from fighting at 140.
Khan is decent, but he's not showed he's anywhere near as good as Mayweather yet.

Re: Boxing 2011
Mayweather has been dodging a fight with Manny for a whole year for the simple fact he is scared of losing. So he goes after someone he knows he can beat
Its all pointless with Mayweather now.

That's one way of looking at it, another is that Pacquiao has been ducking Mayweather by refusing to agree to random drug testing.

Re: Boxing 2011
Mayweather.. I've gave him his credit and its about time he put up. Both Freddie and Khan know they are ready for Mayweather but its all about Manny. Mayweather knows fine well he cant KO Manny and he cannot outpoint him so he simply wont go for the fight. Why should Manny have to jump through rings to make a fight with this guy? He's undefeated but he's hardly fought the Superfights.
Anyone Maywether has beaten.. Manny has beaten better and in cases a lot quicker (Hatton)
Manny is too fast and too resilient for Mayweather to match.
as an expert put it.

For Mayweather, ducking Manny Pacquiao has never seemed so smart.
If Mayweather has any brains – and for all his fool’s antics, he most certainly does – he’ll keep dodging the superfight the world wants.
All the motivation he needs is to look at those busted-up cheeks of Antonio Margarito.

Mayweather vs Ortiz Tonight on Primetime (2am)
Trying to hype this up as much as possible when it'll be as one sided as (Insert David Haye's comment @ Audley Harrison here)
Simple Squash match for Mayweather

Re: Boxing 2011
My thoughts on the ending of the Mayweather and Ortiz fight is it was fair, ref says protect yourself at all times, Ortiz didn't and paid the price.

Indeed. Cortez ****ed up, Ortiz ****ed up, Mayweather did nothing wrong.
Cortez should have notified the timekeeper before telling them to box on, instead he told them "lets go" before turning to the time keeper after realising he hadn't got the clock started again. This is what lead to the ambiguity in what was happening.
Better control over the fighters would have solved it, he should have put both guys back into neutral corners before giving the box on.
Ortiz... what the hell he was thinking I don't know, after apologising at the break, and then after the break, he then goes to apologise AGAIN, I'm sorry buy after having the guy blatantly go for the headbutt, and then the overly nice apologising (he kissed the guy ffs, it's a boxing match, you're not there to make friends) he had the shots coming to him.
My initial reaction was that Cortez hadn't give the box on order, and Mayweather should have been disqualified, that was based on the way Cortez was ignoring the fighters to signal to the time keeper, and Ortiz just standing there going for a hug rather than looking ready to box. On the replay it's clear the box on order was given, just both Cortez and Ortiz are both fools.
Cortez should never ref another match though, the guy has been a liability for a long time.

Re: Boxing 2011
Well it was always the more likely to happen rather than Manny but there is a likely chance he will just duck both and fall back into retirement. Mayweather's speed is no match for that of Khan's but they both have very good precision and Floyd has an excellent defence. With Khan's speed and precision you can almost guarantee Mayweather will take shots and wont be able to use the same gameplan he did with Hatton.
Mayweather will be favourite but the chances of seeing a Major upset are way higher in a fight like this.
I honestly don't think Floyd will take a fight like this at all because of his attitude, If he lost he wouldn't even open his mouth but rather storm out and claim something extremely stupid.. His attitude is a joke. I want to see Khan fight another fight first rather than jump head first with this guy.

Re: Boxing 2011
Amir Khan vs Lamont Peterson (10th December 2011)
What is with sky as of late in regards to completely dropping Mainstream boxing since Haye and Wlad?
Primetime had Khan vs Judah and Mayweather, the latter being something that would have been shown on Sky Sports 1-4 and would have been part of my sub rather than forking out another £15 to cover primetimes crappy commentators.
