Not likely, unless some major new functionality is introduced in the Netgear version of the router, and even then Virgin probably wouldn't/couldn't release an update.

Its Couldn't and even Netgear will not touch it, call them they quickly re direct you.

Now why would Virgin cripple a router like this?! Whilst I don't doubt Virgin's (in)ability for technical support, I would've thought manufacturer support was better...
