Re: What have you just bought?
I have been going round the furniture shops to buy a 3 seater and 2 seater leather suite. The 2 seater cannot be any wider than 55 in or 140 cm, Do you know of any good companies, I have been to Forest. Hampton McMurray and Stirlings. I also tried Phoenix. all in the Area, I don't mind paying between £2,000 and £3,000 Anyone know a good company, Do not want to buy off the net as I would like to see what I am buying and sit on it.

An Indesit 7kg washing machine with 1400 spin speed. £100 off at Currys at the moment with free delivery tomorrow. Our old machine is on its last legs and about to self destruct.

Re: What have you just bought?
Yes they have some excellent deals at Curry's currently old bean as our washing machine was pretty old until we replaced it a while back.

Re: What have you just bought?
New gas cooker delivered today, also from Currys. It seems to be the only place round here that you can look at a good selection.
Also arriving shortly 18 bottles of Beaujolais.

Re: What have you just bought?
Indeed as in Argos you only have their catalogues while most of the other companies are online so you can't look or feel it at all there which we don't like.

Our old Indesit that finally died was diverted from a skip 30+ years ago. OK it only got used once a week and I fixed it several times but it's done very well.
I don't suppose its replacement will last like that.

Appliances are deliberately made so they don't last as long as the parts in them only have a certain life span now old boy.
