Blu-Rays/DVDs that get released on poxy Mondays!!
Why not release them on Friday/Saturday?
I mean some people cannot get stuff delivered to work and home is no good as they are at work.

Do you need them on the first day? Alot of shops let you collect them, like Tescos etc

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Virgin Media Line Rental Saver, why do I always have difficulty getting it applied each year? Got the letter this year and it said phone this number . So I did and the money was painlessly extracted. Did it get applied, of course it didn't. Used online chat and told to use quickpay to pay this months bill and then to phone billing. All that worked perfectly and we shall see if the next bill is correct.

A mew study shows that some people drink too much.
some people eat too much.
some people smoke.
some people drive to work instead of walking.
and some people give a fig that some people do the same old boring studies.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
First Great Western and their lousy train timekeeping. Late into Westbury today just in time to see my connection disappearing over the horizon and leaving me and a dozen other frustrated passengers having to try and make new connections.
Got back to good old Worthing 1 & 1/2 hours late and then the ticket barrier refused the ticket. At least a friendly local staff member waved me through. Southern Region.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Sadly they night have changed their name to the Great Western Railway but delays still remain the case for a large part of their network as we have experienced many times our self.

No problem, just go to your local timber yard and ask for the rain damaged stock...
================================================== =
Staples - long, short, thick, thin I hate them! all!!!
I've been trying to reclaim the hardwood from our old sofas which I broke up months ago because it was far too expensive to have them recovered and we were able to buy 2 x 4 seater leather sofas for not much more.
No wonder the old ones lasted so well (over 25 years) with no creaks or wobbles - I've never seen anything like it, there were literally thousands of the damned things, each of which needed to be removed. Scrapes, puncture wounds, bruises, blisters etc., you name it I suffered it. The latest injury from last week involved the sharp end of a fabric staple puncturing my right index finger between the outside edge of the nail and the skin. My God has it been painful!! It's not infected but it's agony whenever I knock it, which is quite frequently it turns out. I've got it covered with some plasters and cotton wool for cushioning but it's a right PITA and still causing me grief over a week later. Was the wood worth the time and pain?? Jury's out...

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
I used screws and plugs for an extra bit of grip into the wall and caulked into the voids, looks fine.
