Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Poorly kept secret now that Bobby Lashley will return to WWE and start a feud with Brock Lesnar. That puts an end to the speculation that Lesnar is done after WM.
Really strange seeing WWE pursuing the MMA angle. Going to have a roster stacked full of MMA washups or people that just couldn't make it in the legitimate combat world. Lesnar can't take a clean shot to save his life, that's no disrespect to him but you just don't suddenly conjure up a steel chin, he knows that, that's why he quickly dives on people. Just doesn't quite work out when he fights agile people that can counter that. Ronda Rousey was exposed as a one trick pony and was obliterated twice in a row because of her pretty shameful boxing skills. Lastly we end up at Lashley whom has spent every second of his MMA career avoiding big names. He comes in at 240lbs of muscle for fights and will absolutely without a doubt gas out inside two rounds for a UFC fight and be knocked out.
Add all that to the Tapout deal.
I've been on and off WWE but I'm quickly going back to off again. They had Goldberg take a title last year he had no business taking. They've got Lesnar sat on a title doing nothing 80% of the time and they're undoubtedly going to hand it to the toxic Roman Reigns. They're going to push Rousey to oblivion. It's frustrating.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Usually the no spoiler rule is good for WM. Pretty brutal backlash at the minute and I have to agree, that Taker/Cena angle was shockingly bad. The build up to the idea. What was meant to be Legend vs Legend, Hulk vs Andre etc, turned into a 3 minute diabolical squash match. As if I wasn't already narked they took the streak, he's going out with Reigns loss and that absolute travesty of match. What was the idea here? Goldberg vs Lesnar, shock and awe? I'm not shocked, I'm annoyed. As much as I hated the Reigns win. I'd rather that have been the end.
This inevitably leads to a rematch next year of course. That defies the point.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Rumour at the minute but WWE are supposedly in crisis mode after fans left Backlash early and booed the majority of the card. Fans refusal to accept Roman Reigns was the peak of it.
He's toxic. Double the Cena hate.
WWE needs to rethink this very carefully before they reach the point they're paying people to cheer in the audience again.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
You would think that before now they would have got the message that they don't like the superstar that gets punished and then doesn't show much sign of the damage winning still. Cena was that for a long time and look how much he gets booed now. I seriously think it might be time for Vince to step down.

Seriously now, book Strowman better for heavens sake, I can't bare to watch another Big Show fiasco. This guy has the best Monster gimmick in recent memory.
After the last three reconsiderations on the future of Roman Reigns WWE has decided to quadruple down on him to nobodies shock and to the tune of the toxic crowds that will continue to follow him around. Poor.

The WWE Super Show-Down on Saturday, Oct. 6 from the Melbourne Cricket Ground is due start at 10:00am UK time, which would be 5:00am EST. It was originally scheduled to start an hour earlier so it's possible they may do a pre-show event too.
It's been broadcast live on the WWE network, which costs £9.99 per month and can be cancelled at any time. If you haven't joined the network before then you can register and receive 30 days free. I often register and then cancel and they send offers enticing you back with up to 3 free months.
I haven't heard yet if it will be broadcast on Sky/VM

WWE salaries. I don't think for one moment those are their actual contracted salaries, more than likely bonuses are included. And only the very top guys will get 1st class travel, 5 star flights and luxury rental cars.
Fantastic news about Roman by the way, such an emotional speech too. As a side note I hope it means all the marks who boo him because it's "trendy" will now grown up and appreciate the man.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
I know it now WWE but do anyone really think REW will be?
I do not think it will end up as big as WWE.
Do anyone have any news on the WWE UK Telly deal - it up in December.

And only the top guys will be paid regardless of appearances, the rest will struggle through a really intense schedule with injuries, paying for their own insurance, travel and accommodation on the road, the best thing that can happen for the industry and the majority of the workers in it is AEW fills the 20 year WcW void

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
In his speech where he announced the leukaemia, Reigns hit the nail on the head which fans should listen to. 'It didn't matter if you cheered me, it didn't matter if you booed me. You've always reacted to me'. If fans had just not shown any reaction to Roman, he would never have been pushed as he was. Reigns is the new John Cena. At least Reigns can sell a beating lol.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
If they get out ahead of it they can flip Reigns to a heel to feud with the WM winner Rollins.
Doesn't mean Lesnar is necessarily off to fight Cormier though.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
They won't turn Reigns heel. He shifts far too much merch and WWE will be hoping his return and defeat (of sorts) of cancer will get more people behind him.
