The main box with the hard drive buffers for around 3 hours.
The mini box only pauses for around 2 minutes since it doesn't have a hard drive, so if you want to pause a program on there and continue watching it then you need to record it.
.
To watch a paused program - Select the program on the main box and press Record.
On the mini box go to the Home page and then scroll down to the Continue Watching rail and select the program you have just set to record and press OK.
Thanks for reply, TBH I had forgot about the 'mini' boxes. We have two full blown TV360's at home so can pause both for long periods, never left it three hours yet.
I will contact him and see if he has a main/mini box combination.

I have just been down to my brothers in Woking Surrey and he also has two boxes but is not able to pause live broadcasts for more than a few minutes.
Is this due to storage issues on the hard drives or are there different types of boxes/software?
Is there a maximum time that you can leave the box on pause?
The mini slave boxes will only do a few minutes. Best to hit record if you think you need longer.
