Re: Football Season 2015/2016
United and Arsenal will be a lot closer this season, i think thats clear to see. If anything i think they both will be ahead of City and it will be between Chelsea, United and Arsenal for the title.

Are you happy with Carl Jenkinson on another year-long loan?

Arsenal have covered all bases with him. The contract renewal will ensure the club gets the best out of him be it remaining at the club or transferring elsewhere for a bigger transfer fee.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
He's a good player but he isn't Schneiderlin.
have to trust Ronko's judgement.
Still like to see a proven big man at the back...
Van Dijk??

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
LVG has told the press Valdes is to be sold after refusing to play in the reserves last season. What was he expecting when he joined the club? Did he really think he would play ahead of De Gea? I like LVG's ruthless streak, but we really do need to sign a keeper now...

quote in full...
Quote:
'Valdes is not selected [for the tour] because he doesn't follow my philosophy. The philosophy is how you play football and how you maintain your match rhythm,' said Van Gaal.
'He refused last year to play in the second team. There are a lot of other aspects in the philosophy how you have to play like a goalkeeper at Manchester United. When you are not willing [to apply] the principles of that philosophy there is only one way, and that is out.
'For us this is a big disappointment. We thought he would follow our philosophy. It's a pity because we have given the opportunity to rehabilitate. Then we gave a contract. Then of course he is fit to play. When you're not playing in the first selection, you have to play in the second selection.'

I would have thought he would be Valdes replacement. Has the Loris injury hampered MU or is it Levy ?
other reports are of De Gea being told to see out his contract if Man Utd play hardball. asking silly money for someone in his last year but then you don't always give in from the get go. the process and strategy will come back to haunt them if they take too long peeing around. AS are reporting RM are asking €90m for Ramos, MU have offered €45m link De Gea no longer involved in the deal.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
I can see them making De Gea see out the rest of his contract, especially after what's happened over the last few days with Lloris and Valdes. If they're only going to get a small fee for him they may as well wait. Marca reported the other day that Madrid are happy to wait as well. I think it might all depend on how serious Ramos is about wanting to leave, if he actually does then I don't see why either club wouldn't want De Gea as part of the deal.
