You also pay for a package not a certain amount of channels so VM do not have to provide a replacement for it.

Maybe Channel 5+1 will take place of Sky Living Loves on EPG Number 159

That unlikey to happen - I think Virgin will keep all the Channel 5's channels together.

Sky Atlantic SD and ITV2,3,4 HD will do as good replacements for me.

Add the Sky red button and apps for the likes of Lovefilm and Netflix to those and I'll have a great big smile on my face.

Can understand what you are saying - but the I want another because "X" is going & that is outside Virgins control is a bit much.
I cannot think of a channel not on XL that I would want, however there are some I would quite happily see go & some I would really want to keep.
At the end of the day I guess its down to numbers watching.

I would never criticise VM for not providing a channel that s closing down through no fault of VMs.
I think though a genuine question many have is they see their TV subs going up and rightly are asking what is on offer for the extra money as channels disappear,as i said in an earlier posting.
Yes its down to numbers watching for the smaller channels and not only sub fees but advertising revenue as well i guess.
Although in Current TVs case i think a rather large Sky shareholder may have had some say.

you are quite right prices up, services down NOT good, but I cannot think of a channel that would appease me in that regard.
What about 1 free film per month from on demand ( not sure I would use it but still ) Sprat to catch a mackerel perhaps.
OK set up a channel showing all Cardiff blues games would !!!

So going by that, if VM add any new channels then they should be increasing the price??
As mentioned you don't pay for a set amount of channels.
