Was originally going to get the HD DVD briefcase, but I think I'll probably end up going for the BD like you, simply 'cos the PS3 is quieter than the 360.

Thats the reason I went for the Blu-Ray version as my 360 sounds like a 747 on take off now!!
I don't know when Movietyme work over christmas but I ordered on the 21st December and I don't think they have shipped it yet, although they have taken the money.

Re: DVD's you Lust after ..
I'm seriously tempted to get the 'Babylon 5 - The Complete Universe' boxed set. The only thing that's making me hesitate is that it's more than I've ever spent on a single DVD purchase. Okay, so my Stargate collection cost me more in total, at £189.82 [SG-1 series 1-8, Atlantis series 1; not including the movie, as I can't remember what I paid for that], but I didn't buy them all in 1 go. I know I could buy B5 seperately, but it would work out more expensive.

Is it worth it though? there was literally zero difference from the dvd/hd-dvd releases, because of the natural grain aspect of BSG.

The HD broadcasts of BSG looked better than the SD broadcasts though... I think the HD DVD release was just shoddy in general.

Hmm. Seems unlikely, IMO. Where'd you hear that? Most other things that have rip-off split-season boxes also later get full boxes.

I have to admit I noted the price reduction for the Buffy set
I already have the Angel collection
- another box-set taking my fancy is the Jonathan Creek series 1-4, which apparently also includes the Christmas specials (e.g 'Satan's Chimney' ) ...
I ended up ordering both, Buffy & Jonathan Creek - it is all Tez's fault
