Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
For the record Spiderplant in response to your cowardly reputation comment i'm not trolling.
Infact i won't bother posting any info again.
And yes i gave you the exact same comment back in rep.
To add if that's how some Virgin media staff behave now then they won't last very long you are a disgrace to the genuine staff on here who try to help.

What's that all about, theone? You know we value your information on what's going on out there. Far better than all these DNPs and all that nonsense.
This forum can be pretty volatile at times, but the contributions people make that add to our understanding of what is going on are much valued.

Bearing in mind that some users take every speculative post made in the thread as gospel, it must be a real pain for VM staff to fend off the many queries generated by speculative price increase posts.
In fairness, SP doesn't really identify as "VM Staff" so should have more leeway to respond just as any other forum member would. Perhaps somewhat unfair to describe SP as a disgrace to genuine staff who try to help. I have seen many instances, over the years, where SP has been very helpful. SP is definitely an asset to the forum.
This really isn't a good reason to stop posting information. Not everyone will agree with everything you post, that's just a fact of life.
I think a £7.50/m increase on top of the recent price increase would not work out too well for VM. The reactions seen on the thread so far indicate that it would be a bad move and not very good for their churn figures. I can't see it happening. That said, I can't see me staying with VM if it does.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
Well Spiderplant basically called me a troll i don't know if you can see it but here's proof he isn't as innocent as one thinks he is.
But i must apologise to both the members on here and the mods as i should of handled it better by putting him on ignore which i have done, this isn't the first time Spiderplant has attacked me and Virgin media are now aware of his behaviour.
Although they probably won't know who he is by just a username but by making them aware hopefully he'll think twice before attacking another member.
I do sympathise with VM staff as you do get some trolls but a lot of info i have posted has been correct also a lot has been wrong too i only pass on info i get given so if i'm trolling then MB must be too.
The other VM staff on here i find have always been great.
Also i did say that i personally don't think it will be £7.50p/m rise and will probably only be around £3.50p/m on average so surely i was giving vm a bit of credit there, if i was trolling i would of milked the £7.50p/m wouldn't i?
Also i will apologise to SP for calling him a disgrace, the comment was in anger but i stand by everything else that i said and you was bang out of order.

Nice to see you posting again theone2k10
What I will say now another price rise in May and I am off 100% my contract is up in March and I can get BT for £30 a month less an increase up of to £7 in 6 months is not acceptable and I won't accept it I will be off if this is confirmed

Totally agree. I didn't accept the last price rise, so certainly wouldn't tolerate another attempt.

From 1/12/17 STV AD (North) and STV AD (East) has been testing on satellite, isn't there only one test on VM?
