Trousers just arrived - very nice going to order a few more. My days as one of the 'Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' may be over.

Re: What have you just bought?
New sofa for living room although my sofa is only a couple of years old, I made a BIG mistake in the colour as I'm forever cleaning it. This time I went for a darker colour the colour I have picked this time is called Cognac hopefully this should be much easier to keep clean fingers crossed.

That's why we went for dark brown leather. Much easier to keep looking nice. You'll just have to keep the kids off.

I should have went for the brown colour first time around Osem instead of going for a light earth colour but I thought it was a good idea at the time at my age I should have known better. Anyway hubby is happy he wanted electric recliners and I said no I don't fancy them but this time we have went for electric recliners on both the 3 and 2 seater sofa. The darker suite should also go in my living room due to the neutral colours that I have and once I have my new suite I will upload a pic for you to see. I just really hope it goes as I can just imagine hubby's face if I say otherwise

A new watering can. I fell over the old one and borked it. Not even superglue could save the day.

Just to make you feel better I have long yearned for a nice pastel coloured sweet but the practical side of me always stopped me. In the end we bought 2 of these large sofas - they seat four easily:

Re: What have you just bought?
Another load of certificates from the GRO as the family tree binge continues having just broken down a long standing brick wall (2x Great Grandfather modified his surname to make him sound less Irish. Thanks Gramps!)

Re: What have you just bought?
A new smoke detector.
The previous one was about 8 or 9 years old.
