As it is, the suffering's continued and I'm just hoping he'll pass away restfully in his sleep without enduring too much more of this. It serves no purpose.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family Osem.

Why I bother is beyond me, sometimes I wonder would anyone miss me if I just quietly ate a cyanide pill.

Sorry to hear that you're going through the same sort of thing we did last week. Our best wishes to you and yours.

l can only those same sentiments to Osem as its very difficult when you know loved ones are in their last few weeks and days and you know they are suffering and you just don't want them to be in pain anymore.

Yes guys, it is hard to watch but so much worse for him because he's fully aware of what's going on so doesn't even have the luxury of being 'out of it'. Mum's been over to see him for what'll probably be their final goodbye given her situation and I'll be off to see him later - just hope the end to his suffering will come soon.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
The other week I hit a water covered pothole that was so deep you could have gone scuba diving in.
Well since then I've been hearing a weird noise form the front left.
Booked into the garage but no luck until the 1st of July.
I looked and discovered the spring has jumped out of the bottom mount and obviously rubbing, so I have to borrow my dads car.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
After suffering sinus infections constantly for over a year, I got referred to an ENT specialist a couple of months ago and after many antibiotics and sprays/tablets that did very little I got some tests and a CT scan.
I got told last week that I will need surgery ASAP as I have nasal polyps and a papilloma that all need to be removed ASAP. The tumour has a 90% chance of being benign I am told.
Still doesn't stop me thinking about that 10%. They are also going to open up my sinus to try and stop it getting infected as easily.
I will be glad when its done as I have had a blocked nose for over 6 months and a constantly running nose due to the papillloma.
MRI coming up on the 7th so they can see it all in more detail before the surgery.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Feeling rather down today as I had it in my head that the wee one would be home on Monday don't know why I thought this date but I did it was only last night when I was looking at his return flight details that I realised I would not be seeing my youngest till Tuesday and I just burst out crying. I'm really missing him and although I am getting daily updates I have not spoken to him for ages it feels

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Oh weenie, you are a great mum. I know how hard it can be when a child is away from home. I also know that tomorrow will seem like a month of Sundays .. as my Dad used to say.... but once you have him safely back home on Tuesday the extra wait will just disappear like a puff of smoke.
Think, just two more sleeps and he will be home, full of all he has experienced, showing you all those pictures, talking a mile a minute and ....... totally knackered.
I remember Peter coming home after a whistle stop 9 day tour of Europe, he was 10 and those 9 days seemed like a life time to me. We picked him up from school at lunch time, by the time we were home he was fast asleep in the back of the car, snoring like traction engine. We carried him upstairs, undressed him, put him to bed and he didn't surface till mid morning the next day.

I can well imagine the dishes being washed in the bath?
[No dishwasher at my aged mum's house when her kitchen was done]
