Re: What have you just bought?
A new wireless doorbell for Chateau Nuthouse as the old one from Home & Bargains eventually gave up the ghost.

Re: What have you just bought?
18db Antenna amplifier. £9.29 including postage. Came today and I've installed it on the first floor where the cables join up and it's picked up the signals on the multiplex that was dropping out (PSB1) so the loft antenna is working fine now.
The gale yesterday has twisted the old one on the gable round to a new crazy angle. I guess it'll only be a matter of time before it falls off completely. Saves me having to do anything about it.

Re: What have you just bought?
We have two wheelie bins, one for general waste and the other recyclables. We're lucky and get general collections weekly, recyclables fortnightly.
I got our numbers from Trago Mills: 2 and 5.

Re: What have you just bought?
On all three bins we have numbers but on the glass recycle bin we put as a laugh a small sticker that says No peeking now! as when it gets put out it is usually has a lot of wine and beer bottles

Re: What have you just bought?
Spent a lot today.
Bought a two seater leather sofa with manual recliners, and a media tray
A lamp table
A TV Stand
A microwave
That's just the start. There will be more to follow once the credit card is cleared

Re: What have you just bought?
Probably the flimsiest outdoor storage box the world has ever seen but I can't be bothered to disassemble it and take it back so it'll be consigned to the outdoor where I fully expect it to fall apart in a year or two.
