Re: The iPhone thread

The YouTube app for iOS has been updated with the ability to pair it with another device and then send video to that device and control it. Works with the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and smart TVs.

Re: The iPhone thread

New budget model?
Quote:
The long-awaited, long-talked about budget iPhone is apparently set to launch, in a bid to knock Samsung off the top of the smartphone ladder.

After months of speculation and rumour talk, the ‘will they, won’t they’ debate continues as strongly as before – with supply chain sources offering insight into Apple’s future plans.
The cynic in me wonders whether it'll just be a cosmetic makeover with a crippled iOS and they'll just take a hit on their profits to gain market share...

Re: The iPhone thread

I don't get the point of a separate cheaper iPhone, the current reduce the old model, model, seems to work fine.

Re: The iPhone thread

GTA III for iOS has been updated with...

- iPhone 5 screen support.

- iCloud save game support.

- Custom playlists... Just create a playlist in iTunes called "GTA3" to be able to use it in the game.

IOS 7 looks like a mash up of WP8 and android stuff.

Looks pretty cool but I hope it fixes the battery drain problems that appeared in 6.1

Re: The iPhone thread

There's a market for an iPhone that has the capabilities to use the internet and camera, with some limited space for apps on.

£600 for the current 32gb is too much (529 for 16gb).

And on contract they are all 24 month deals which are too long, by which time 2 new generations would be released.

A shorter contract on "sim only" is cheaper option.
