They have been a Xmas treat for me since early childhood. Then they got "superfood" status and became too expensive for a long while. Then imports started of culinary pommegranate that are far too sour to eat raw.
Glad to report that large, sweet ones are in Lidl at 50p each now!
Pork ribs in Jack Daniels Chilli marinade for us in a few minutes!

My wife has recently gone "anti-beef" so I made a Ragout Bolognaise with just pork. We couldn't taste the difference, but my wallet felt heavier!
