Spent last night in A&E with my son after he found out the hard way that he's not Dave Mirra or Harry Main.
Broken collarbone and bruised face...eejit!

Lancashire County Cricket Club!
There for the England v SA T20 game. Chucked it down from 18:30 start time, they announced at 19:30 (still raining) that no play would be possible until 21:05 at the earliest. Based on this and their refund policy (refund if less than 9.5 overs bowled & no result, latest finish time 22:00) decided to call it a day.
Get home to find play started at 20:45 & 9 overs per side! That's £90 plus food & drink for the night down the drain... 
While I'm at it, the stupid turnstile system at OT Metrolink station. People queuing in the pouring rain to get on the platform, trams allowed to depart half empty!

My moan is Coventry Bees riders (speedway) must have had Ovaltine in their tanks tonight.
Oh and huge spiders creeping in to spend a cosy winter. OK - only 2 so far but it's 2 too many.
