RIP Trevor Roche who died today flying a vintage DH53 at Shuttleworth which is only about 10 miles north of me.. The crash subsequently forced the cancellation of the air display due today.

at the armed forces weekend at Wollaton Hall Nottingham I saw the Dakota (C47-Skytrain) doing a fly past but unfortunately I didnt have my camera at hand as I had to get some food for the Mrs and myself and was stuck in the queue for too long but what a beautiful plane that was
