Re: Formula 1 2011 season
Lewis was penalised for changing direction more than once while defending. It was just before turn 1 so a while before they made contact.
Sometimes I think there is lack of consistancy with the stewards, how do they explain penalising Jenson in Australia but not Vettel who made a pass on Jenson whilst not in the confines of the track?

Re: Formula 1 2011 season
What was Webber's team thinking about when they sent him out on Primes for the end of Q1??? It'll be interesting to see if his KERS is working for the race

End of Q2 was a laugh to watch.. Not surprised that Alonso got dirty and passed Perez

Apparently this is the start of being consistent in 2011. A good article, as ever, from Joe Saward.

Re: Formula 1 2011 season
Red Bull really dropped the ball with Webber in Q1 - needed some improvement to stay in, and went with prime, rather than option - WHY?
Trying to save a set of options, cost a place in Q2.

What a cracking GP
Schumi and Alonso wheel to wheel ... Ace
Two and three stop strategies playing put nicely
Williams seem totally anonymous
Di Resta sticking it to Sutil
First time I have seen a GP live this year, loving the interactive web tools;

Re: Formula 1 2011 season
I take it back, Excellent driving by Hamilton. Its clear him and Vettel are the future of F1.
But you cannot miss out Mark Webber, by far the best drive on the track today!

Re: Formula 1 2011 season
Jenson obviously wants one of those red bull front wings lol. What a silly mistake, you would excuse one of the rookies but not jb. Love the way in his post race interview jb said it didn't affect his race. Er, yes Jenson you came in first and left the pits second. Plonker.
Very good gp with plenty of action and strategies, nice to see the red bulls are not untouchable. Well done Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber

Great race this morning and finally the changes (KERS/DRS/TYRES) are all coming together to create good racing
Well done Lewis

With all the different permitations going on, who was on what strategy and how long before their tyres wen`t off, overtaking left right and centre all on a magnificent race track, it was all just absolutely ace
Jenson being Jenson (what a Rodney), what was he looking down at? his car stereo
