Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
Came across this Tesco mobile deal:
http://i56.tinypic.com/25ewbjb.jpg
£10, for 500 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet (probably means 1gb).
Sim only, 1 month rolling contract... surely beats VM sim only?
Posting this here so that if anyone wants to get it, they can =) ... I am stuck on my crappy 3 fone

Re: Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
Hmm - might be good for my son - currently on Tesco PAYG and probably tops up £10/m.
Thanks

And yet 3 have 3000 minutes 3-3, 600 texts (if you topup online, 300 if you don't) and 150mb internet for 10 quid
If you want unlimited though, giffgaff - 35 pound goody bag (Currently half price) = unlimited calls to UK numbers (doesn't include non-geographic) unlimited texts and unlimited internet (And no AUP so unlimited is precisely that) for 30 days.
Recommend a friend and you BOTH get an extra 5 quid credit when they top up.

No, only 500 meg. Also, this uses the O2 network.

Re: Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
Umm, how do you compare to this deal? That's FULL internet, no AUP limitations...
Oh, and shouldn't this be in 'other telco' since the service is a piggyback on O2 and not VM?

Re: Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
I'm sure I'm not the only one but theis use of thre term 'unlimited' by these companies drives me mad. Restricted to 500mb, 1gb or whetever isn't exactly 'unlimited' is it.
These companies would improve their PR greatly if they'd stop using miselading terminology like this.

Free Mobile Internet:
You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the 1st of December 2010. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 50p a day (if you use less than 2.5MB/day you'll pay less than 50p and if you go over 30MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB).

Lol, you obviously either don't work for Tesco Mobile or aren't quite clued up on Tesco's systems!
I have an iPhone 3GS and use this £10 a month and it is fine with all internet. It comes up on my bill as MOBILE WEB whereas if I swap to my K800i it comes up as WAP BROWSING (like you suggested). Point being is, you can do normal MOBILE WEB like you would need for all new and current smartphones.

Re: Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
when will virgin offer a deal to rival this as i am starting to look for another provider as the 30p a day access is a rip off
but the cheapest unlimited web on virgin is £15 why don't they offer a £10 deal

Re: Tesco Mobile - Good deal!
Hi all
Virgin do offer 800 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet access , all for £10 sim card only monthly contract to existing customers thanks to Tesco's sim card only offer. when i saw the advert for Tesco i phoned Virgin to cancell my monthly contract and they offered me the deal above for £10 a month to stay with virgin . I have had that package for about 3 months now and i think its a good deal so give Virgin cancelations a call and mention Tesco and leaving see what they offer you may get more than me . ???
