Re: the dvd thread
I like my babylon 5 dvd sets
Um - And my Battlestar Galactica set.
I did have blakes 7 (series 1) but the WHOLE set was screwed up and I had to take it back.
I couldn't see me paying £85.99 for a dvd tho (Although I have been tempted by the star trek movies set - but then they started bringing out the special editions so I'm glad I didn't)

I'm especially proud of my Jaws complete set (awaiting original jaws to be delivered)
And my entire collection of Friday the 13th movies, all orginal all suplied by the fantastic play.com.
Next one I'm ordering is the Rambo trilogy (hey i'm still a kid at heart, Rambo was my hero lol).

Re: the dvd thread
I'm in the process of collecting every movie by Angelina Jolie and Liv Tyler, I think they are both awesome actresses*.
*Not sure why but the PC term "actors" doesn't sound right.

I did like the new one - BUT - Although I did get it on DVD I also took it back as it was probably one of the worst encoded dvd's I've ever seen. VERY poor
The copy I taped on my S-vhs VCR was better - that's how bad it was.

Yeah - and when I finally get a dvd-writer I'll be able to make my own DECENT copy
On reflection I think my copy of 'flight of the navigator' on dvd is almost as bad - but that's an old film so I don't know what galactica's excuse is - except maybe it's ment to be that way - you know arty (grany) or something.

I nearly got it the other day off EBay-it was £38.00
[Edit]-I noticed In Sainsbury's the other day that they were doing the Alien films on a 'buy one/get one free' jobbie, & each one was priced @ £9.00!! (not the Quadrilogy admittedly, but still!)
