Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Had a routine asthma appointment this morning, I asked at reception how to go about getting a replacement blood test form done as I lost mine. In the space of 20 minutes, had the form printed out, 3 vials of blood taken with not even evidence of where the needle went in and saw the asthma nurse.
Shows why I like going to the surgery and having the occasional delay when waiting to be called in by a doctor.

Made and baked a loaf of bread this morning: Semi wholemeal with mixed seeds. House smells lovely.

Did it. In fact I absolutely smashed it, then poured petrol on the smashed bits and set fire to it before smashing the ashes.
Waiting for the official time but looks like 1:32:18, over 6 1/2 minutes off my previous PB!
On the downside I can't feel my legs anymore!

If I can stay awake it's home made brioche buns studded with blueberries later.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
The OH and I have just spent a very pleasant lunchtime up at the local. A table in front of the building was nicely sheltered from the light breeze and it was really quite warm in the strong sunshine. A couple of pints each of wifebeater. Roll on spring and summer.

We went to the South Devon Railway as a belated Birthday present today with family and friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable time today on the steam train.

l try not to get too negative in life as even though l have been through a awful lot there are people who are much worse off them me and they seem to cope admirately even though sometimes they probably would like a end to it all.
Yes my Dad or grumps as we call in got me into trains many years ago and l have had the bug since.
Yes we had a lovely day there as it was nice and sunny even though it was slightly chilly out of the sun.

Thanks nash. As den says it's cold in the shade ( 11C) but it's nice to be able to get out.

We're both husbands so there's no problem.
