Re: U.S President: Donald Trump
The way the legislation was worded bought it directly into conflict with the 2nd amendment and many people were affected by it that had no mental impairment or any history of such. That's why it was voted out and will be replaced, it is never better to leave a lousy law in place till a better one is available and there are additional laws in the firearms process that will cover everyone in the meantime.

So why didn't he say that? He could have avoided all this furore if he had just said he only met with Russians twice as part of his Senate role.
(unfortunately, when he met with the Russian Ambassador at the GOP Convention, he claimed expenses from his campaign funds, rather than his Senate expenses...)

I tend to agree. The 'furore' seems to be largely media driven right now in just the same way so many doom, gloom and despair ridden headlines following the referendum were when virtually anything bad which happened or might happen was being attributed to Brexit. In all honesty, the jury's still out on Trump for me but no amount of social media bile and news media bilge is going to change that.

Throwing an innocent man in jail, jeez the Democrats really have sank to new lows... My point still stands, they are sore losers doing their utmost to unpick Trump's Administration because there is sod all else they can do, they hold a Minority in both chambers of Congress and they lost the White House.

This is just it, if you drown out the noise and don't follow the media like lost sheep, it is easy to look at things from your own perspective and research. Too many people look to the media as if it's the spoken gospel. As we know, it isn't. They have an agenda and many people who really have no opinion on Trump either way, are seeing the media for what it is.

Ah the gospel according to President Trump ! Everyone that says anything different is fake, every bit of negative news is fake, all those women made up those rude stories about him are fake... Even for the Americans that's going to wear thin soon, it already is for many Republicans. He's in it thick with the Russians and everyone knows it. It'll be his own party that will do for him in the not too distant future.

God no. I would however be a little happier if liberals and left wingers actually accepted the blame for their mistakes.

But not the bit where he explained how liberals have closed down debate?

As of yesterday, there is no evidence to support your assertion. None

Investigations are on going, so it surely would be better to wait a while before making unsubstantiated accusations. You may be right. You may be wrong; I don't know, but at the moment they are merely your personal views, not facts.

Re: U.S President: Donald Trump
Until there is an acceptence by the liberal left that their agenda is not the only way and that there are many more losers then winners these political shocks will continue. People have had enough of globalisation and they are tired of being left behind and disadvantaged by a process they neither want or support and the most interesting point of it is how spectacularly the usual media tactics have backfired. What's even worse is rather then realise their mistake they just continue with the same tactics and are intensifying the doom aspect of it completely unaware seemingly that far from bringing people round they are actually alienating even more. Trump is a symbol of the problem not the cause and unlikely the solution but if things don't change there will be more shocks delivered by a growing fed up group of people.

I haven't seen any evidence of this on this forum it just wouldn't be very s mart, you'd have to be pretty blinkered and ignorant.
