hd/dvd recorder for v box?

Suggestions please for a good budget recording device I can add to my V Box.

Although I don't watch a lot of TV there are occasional programs I'd like to keep.

DVD only might be enough but need to be sure I get something compatible.

HDD recorders can only record from whatever tuner it has, there is no video input.

So can I hook up a DVD recorder to the v-box scart and record what I see on screen?

You can buy the Emprex ME1 for £20 - £25 and stick your own HD drive.
