Ambulance called for dying pigeon
http://www.itv.com/news/london/2015-...-dying-pigeon/
In all my years, l have never heard how stupid people can be by this thread, all it needs is common sense.
What a waste of vital resources. I started my working life in a greengrocers and saw an injured pigeon slapping its wings as it had been hit by a bus.
It sat on the floor and could not move - the local butcher saw it, spoke with us and decided to end its life - by breaking its neck and we buried it.
Couldn't these people have done this, without calling 999 or even the RSPCA which is in the phone book. And the strangest thing is, in Southall where this took place. There are three emergency centres.

Re: Ambulance called for dying pigeon
The real question is.... would there have been a bed for the pidgeon when it got to hospital?
Once again one rule for the pidgeons and another for us. I'm sick of the Tories destroying our NHS.

Re: Ambulance called for dying pigeon
We didn't receive any messages, and we definitely did not shoot this plump-breasted pigeon.

I don't quite see the connection. Was it a Conservative pigeon?

Well IIRC there was a picture of it with a blue rosette and it was known to perch at Eton so...
