Red Dwarf X
Hurry up October the 4th, I'm eager to see this already
Quote:
Red Dwarf returns to Dave in October with a brand new 6-episode series.
Here's Pete's spoiler-free review of the opener, Trojan...
When Dave announced that it would be making a new six-part Red Dwarf series after 2009’s Back to Earth, it’s fair to say that many fans were cautious in their optimism; the three-part special had taken the characters down a much more dramatic route, and seemed to mark a shift in direction for the Boys from the Dwarf, one which took them away from their sitcom roots. Would Red Dwarf X continue this trend?

Re: Red Dwarf X
Not expecting much it went down hill rapidly once the nanobots rebuilt Red Dwarf and Kochansi was not played by Clare Grogan and then that Easter special was awful
Will give it a go in the forlorn hope its back to how it was

Re: Red Dwarf X
I must admit I am not expecting it to be very good but I shall watch it in the hope i'm wrong.
Looking at the title of the last episode maybe the whole thing is meant to have a conclusion which would be good.

Re: Red Dwarf X
Having been utterly disapointed with the specials a couple of years ago I was dreading a new series, but having seen a trailer it looks like they have got the magic back. Small sets and filmed in front of a live audience.

Re: Red Dwarf X
I went to watch the recording of episode 3, and i am pleased to tell you all that it's back to the likes of series 2-4 style comedy, it's sooo funny, you're going to love it i promise you
Kryten never broke character during the whole day, was really funny as he kept coming over to the audience to have a chat as Kryten

Thanks for that.. Everything I'd read and seen recently suggested that they were well aware of just how badly "Back to Earth" had bombed, so decided to return to what worked best, and your first hand confirmation is (as far as I'm concerned) the icing on the cake..
