Why can't l watch Sky Sports live on TV Anywhere

Why can't l watch Sky Sports live on TV Anywhere
l am trying to watch the football on Sky Sports 1 this afternoon on TV Anywhere where it then says log into Sky which l have and then it tells you which browsers support it and l have Microsoft Edge which it says it supports it but when l try to watch it nothing happens at all.
Any help would be very welcome.

Don't you have to sign in with your VM details via the Sky Sports website?

Yes that is what l have done Nomad and nothing happens but looking at your post the only browsers which l currently have are Chrome and IE and obviously they are not supported currently it seems from your post.

Nomad's post does not say Chrome and IE are not supported. It just gives minimum requirements

Try firefox mate make sure you allow silverlight.
It's high time SKY dropped silverlight it's very outdated and buggy too.
