Multi monitor setup
At the moment I'm running a 28 inch 4k and a 27 inch full hd monitors on a r9 270 2gb video card.
My question is could I put my old 27 full hd monitor back into the mix to without a worry over stressing the card.
I'm not a gamer I'm just someone who likes a wide work area.
Thanks.

Re: Multi monitor setup
If you have a spare "HDMI" port I don't see why not.
It might struggle with 3 monitor running at top resolution

Re: Multi monitor setup
No spare HDMI. It would need to be connected to dvi.

Re: Multi monitor setup
DVI is just HDMI but without any sound so unless the DVI shares the port with the HDMI, should work.

I must correct myself Some DVI does carry Audio, but this might apply to new kit only.

Re: Multi monitor setup
I game at 3K with a 290 and get respectable frame rates.
Would have thought this would work great OP, for non gaming purposes.
