Re: Fallout 4!!
Apparently it's not coming out for Xbox 360 or PS3, but did anyone even expect it to?

Re: Fallout 4!!
It's not and was confirmed only for PC and current gen in the announcement.

Re: Fallout 4!!
Is it open world or just linear?

Re: Fallout 4!!
Its openworld is the answer you are looking for. Unlike the unhelpful previous post.

Re: Fallout 4!!
My son has been singing it's praises so I might have a dabble when I've found the time to finish MGS V
Anyone played it yet?

Re: Fallout 4!!
I'm currently about to, I loved NV so here's hoping the criticism for this is unwarranted. Unfortunately I'm PCmasterrace so this could end in tears and a steam refund.
Strongly considering getting another Xbone if Microsoft don't push their exclusives onto Windows 10 (Which would actually make me move to Win10..HINT Microsoft - Make Forza PC please)

Mandatory screenshot of course.
First problem encountered and fixed but still annoying. You can't disable the gamepad in game, the option is there but it simply doesn't work, I've managed to manually disable it in the ini files though. Not an issue for consoles naturally.
Character customization is a massive upgrade to previous games, facial features and general overall player graphics. Not much of a graphical improvement overall but changes here and there. Loved the opening though and looking forward to the rest. Given that opening sequence which I won't spoil for those yet to play. So please don't read the spoiler if you're yet to clear the opening sequences.
Love how smooth the new shooting mechanic is compared to previous games.
So far even without a proper play through, it's looking at an 8/10 The only gripe I have early on is the complete controls overhaul.

Re: Fallout 4!!
Done. Great story overall
Pros: Great Story
Character Customisation
Voice applied to Player Controlled Character
Decent Map size
Weapon Mods
Base building
Weapons shooting mechanic overhaul (Feels miles better than NV)
Graphical and Movement update on player character.
No Micro-transactions
Plenty more pro's than cons
Cons: Controller support bug as I already posted above (PC only - Probably patched now)
Game engine tied to FPS (PC only, no issues if you cap to 60 but effectively renders 144hz users out of the loop, E.G playing the game at 144fps massively speeds it up)
Minimal world texture updates from previous games
Lots of empty shells for buildings.
Not as RPG as one would expect.
Bugs here and there but nothing that broke the game for me.
Probably more cons too but again I enjoyed it and I'm very outspoken and critical of things that fail to deliver.
Re-playability 9/10
Story 8/10
Graphics and Engine 6/10 (Pro could be not having to download 60GB's worth of game though)
Content and things to do? 10/10
Base building feature 9/10 - Again one of the better base building mechanics I've seen, easy to use and well thought out.
Overall though I'd stick with my 8/10 above, definitely one of the better games this year by some margin.
