Sick & disabled may bear the brunt of the next wave of benefit cuts.

The Government is considering slashing Employment Support Allowance, a benefit paid to the sick and disabled.

If the proposals go through, this would mean people having their benefits cut to what they would get on Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) + 50p.

At todays rates, JSA for single people is £51.75 for those aged 18 to 24 and £71.40 for those aged 25 or over.
