Re: Port Forward cannot see on wifi

It has to be something with your laptop, it's the one thing struggling to see it. You've not got any VPNs or proxys or anything set up on it?

Try doing a tracert to your external IP from both the laptop and the wired machine - they should match.

Re: Port Forward cannot see on wifi

Thanks

Virgin were very helpful but even they cannot understand why the guest account cannot access my ipaddress on my own wifi but can see it from someone else's account including the bus freewifi. Have changed to using the main SSID.

thanks to everyone who helped.

From my understanding signing on as a guest will only allow limited access to your network for security reasons. You can change this in the user account settings.

On wifi, if I log in to the main SSID I can access the camera on my own network.
If I log out and log on to my guest wifi account I cannot see it on my own network but can see it if using a neighbour's network, so still scratching my head.

That's exactly how it's supposed to work, I could have told you that if you bothered answering the first question I asked two weeks ago.
