Time to tell EE to shove it, where else to go?
Well T-Mobile (EE) have driven me to despair.
I've have enough of crap signals at home, work & holiday so on Friday I'm going to try and cancel my contract (9 months left).
Who is the best to go for on unlimited data, or high meg 4G for around £28 per month. (I'm in Essex right next to the Hertfordshire border.)
Also I need to be able to tether other devices to my phone (Tablet, MP3 players etc)

First thing to do is to check out the coverage of the other networks (O2, Voda, 3) then look at those networks directly or via MVNOs (tesco mobile etc.)

your on about the best the others except 3 and only in good signal for them areas are just as useless
the best you can do is ask those you work with what they are on and how good their signal is there and at home and where that is

EE are the only network that do any form of high GB 4G and have by far the widest 4G coverage of any network.
No major network has unlimited 4G.
If you think EE's 4G coverage is bad, everyone else will be way worse. The closest network behind EE has less than half the coverage.

Check out 3's sim only plans. Those with all-you-can-eat-data allow 4Gb tethering per month.

Sorta - but they also have by far the least 4G coverage, to the extent that I wouldn't call it a major network. At least not in the 4G game.

I have a work EE phone and coverage in a field in Devon is better than I get at home. Because it's a business connection I've been given a signal booster that effectively routes the signal over my broadband. Issues are that it's using my mains to power it and if the BB is out then my nice boosted signal is also out.
I think EE issues are as they turn off Orange/T-mobile transmitters where there is overlap. If they turn off the stronger one near you - tough. But I'm not over sure on this but it seems logical.

I was with EE, signal is almost non existent at our house. Changed to O2 and use their tugo for signal at home (routes through broadband)
Get nice speeds at work in Nottingham on 4g.
