Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
As the upgrades are now due to start please use this thread to report that your area has been upgraded (please include your Original speed, UBR/HEADEND (for example WARR2-1-0 for the Warrington Area (use the connection tab on the main menu to find out what yours is then post the bit in red cpc03-warr2-1-0-cust123.1-1.cable.virginmedia.com)), a current upgraded speed test from speedtest.net and as requested by Quassie a modem config and AC requests up/down stream details.
No off topic or fake speed-upgrade posts will be tolerated in this thread. Please include all info especially the UBR/Headend and location so others can search their for reports from their area. Please remember that this thread is ONLY for members to report when their area is upgraded (not upgrades via customer services or retentions), for all other posts please use the existing thread at http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/10...and-speed.html |

Just checked mine, now on 20meg from 10meg (newc3-0-0).

your upload uplift hasnt happened? I know the 2012+ upload upgrade is seperate to the down being pushed but you havent even got the old up upgrade.
call in for SuperHub, you'll probably end up on 30 down and maybe upstream modulation changing. |

weird that 20mbit is only 1 channel. Hopefully it till go to 2 after the speed increases. If they let everyone use all 8 channels regardless of tier, it would probably help congestion no end.

You won't get a SuperHub for the 10Mbit > 20Mbit uplift unless you've got a REALLY old modem - which if you have Virgin will let you know and offer you a SuperHub to get the uplift
