Which is often down to the City's clamouring for quarter on quarter growth, otherwise the share price is marked down....

Indeed. I've given one small example, but from what I have seen, it's happening industry wide in most industries. Not every company, but certainly most of them.

I agree, what's that all about? It's unrealistic to expect constant growth yet thats what the stock markets seem to not understand.....

Sadly, the City seems to be run by people who can't see beyond the next quarter, and are ONLY concerned with their next set of profit and loss figures.

Now been reading something else seems its growing that individuals not happy with Klugman economic views.

So the question if experts called it wrong then what will make the economy turn.

What will make the rich see sense. Maybe the situation one big wake up call that economy needs all cogs we cant remove one without it stopping it drive.

agreed and hugh make also valid point common sense needs to be brought about.

I said in other post maybe the situation one big wake up call. Will those who can effect change listen and act.
