Virgin Media expands VoD offerings: Discovery and Nat Geo

# Nov 16, 09:19 AM by Mick

Some good news for documentary fans if you are a Virgin Media digital TV customer. VM is currently in the process of expanding its ‘On Demand’ service by up to 80 hours of additional content from the popular factual, scientific, nature and lifestyle documentary TV channels, Discovery and the National Geographic Channel.

Virgin Media’s last few quarterly financial results have indicated that more and more of the cable groups digital tv customers, are watching more and more content from its ‘On Demand’ library, so it makes absolute sense for the company to add additional content.

VM DTV customers will be able to watch from this week, shows from the National Geographic Channel: Megafactories, Megastructures, Lockdown, Air Crash Investigation, Earth Investigations, Inside 9/11 and Ultimate Disasters.

Content from the Discovery Channel is still in the process of being added.
