Kids get free TV for Christmas via ntl VOD

Children across the UK can look forward to a festive treat this December with unlimited viewing from ntl of Balamory, Andy Pandy, Tweenies, Robbie the Reindeer, Spider-Man, SpongeBob Squarepants, X-Men and Power Rangers. In fact there’s 100s of episodes and over 80 hours of cartoons and pre-school programmes – all available instantly “on demand”. The good news for parents is that’s all free!

ntl, the UK’s leading digital cable TV company, is giving families an early Christmas present of six weeks of free children’s TV. Over 80 hours of high quality children’s entertainment will be available 24/7 until 11 January 2006. Viewers will have free open access to the children’s TV section within ntl’s new Video on Demand TV service.

ntl On Demand features a huge range of uninterrupted favourites old and new. There is a fantastic range of animation and fun programmes including Balamory and the Tweenies. There’s no advertising and children can choose what they want to watch, when they want watch it. Programmes are available at the touch of a button.

Joining the fun is Nickelodeon. This children’s favourite has agreed to allow every ntl digital TV customer to enjoy its full range of channels including Nickelodeon, Nick Replay, Nick Jr and Nick Toons, unencrypted for the six weeks. Join SpongeBob & friends on their latest adventures and catch all the latest on Nick Jr with Dora The Explorer and Fifi and the Flowertots.

With over 100 different programmes available on demand we know that we can keep kids entertained this festive season.”

Video On Demand is the next step in the evolution of UK digital TV and is exclusive to cable customers due to its integral high-speed fibre optic network. Satellite and terrestrial TV are unable to offer this service.

ntl On Demand offers:
