International Calls

Just a quick one on international calling from a VM landline.

I have the Talk International addition on my phone line as part of the VIP50 package. I was just wondering whether there were plans, or what people's views are, on VM including international calls free on the Talk International plan. I know that Sky charge an extra £5 a month and give you free international calls and the likes of Talk Talk include this in their bundles.

With the increase in the phone line cost and Talk International this April, it would seem to add extra value to the service. I for one would love it if they did that as my parents live in France!

Re: International Calls

I think you're condfusing a company that is interested in adding value for its customers with Virgin media here. They ar eonly interested in what they can make out of you, not in providing you with better value, and of course they have you locked in with discounts so that despite their ludicrous charges, it wouldn't be cost effective to take your phone service elsewhere.

Re: International Calls

I'm on Talk Anywhere and I never have to worry about connection fees or whether I'm calling International or mobiles. It might be worth checking out.
