Belkin all in one print server?
Hi, i have a belking all in one print server on my network, but with the recent addition of 2 laptops running windows 7, the software will not work, after contacting belkin, they told me as it was a discontinued piece of hardware, they would not be releasing any software to use with windows 7.
anyone got any ideas, like another print server i can get, must be an all in one though
Thanks
Les

Re: Belkin all in one print server ???
well 1 way to use it with 7 is just creating a standard windows ip port and point it to the belkin that should do the trick

Re: Belkin all in one print server ???
go to printers on 7, add printer select Network and give it the ip address of the belkin printserver, it'll ask to install the drivers for the printer which 99% of the time 7 already has.

Re: Belkin all in one print server ???
I use an old HP webjet printserver with windows 7 (and before that an even older single port one) with no problems

Re: Belkin all in one print server?
Hi all, well as it happens, I do still have it, but my router went wrong, which was a belkin & had a lifetime warranty, they swapped it for play max, which has all the app & features built in, so using the print server built into that, thanks for the info tho, will download the driver & save it to a disc, u never know, may need it sometime.
