To prevent inadvertent operation of the buttons on the handset, the keypad can be locked. Press and hold down the keylock button until you hear the confirmation tone and the key symbol is displayed.
To remove the keylock, press and hold down the keylock button until you hear the confirmation tone and the key symbol is extinguished.
