Re: cable tv isolator

You could try calling VM and tell them it just broke and can they send someone to fix it up.

Re: cable tv isolator

If you call up then a engineer will be sent to repair it, do not mention that you broke it though as they may charge you for the callout.

Re: cable tv isolator

You dont need an isolator by the sounds of it, you need an Isolator cover...

Re: cable tv isolator

You'll need an isolator too as the new isolator plates need a slimline isolator, have you managed to source one?

Re: cable tv isolator

Can someone please help me.
i had 2 isolators in the house, 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs, unfortunately my builder threw 1 away. The isolator I had downstairs was a qamtex v300, Is there any way of getting hold of 1, or a newer version 1, as I need to install it upstairs. I have a cable box and broadband upstairs. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
