Yes and dumped it after two seasons. It should have been obvious that it wasn't a good fit for ITV and it's core audience.

Was it dumped or was it that only two series have been made?
I missed the last three programmes of series 2 due to rescheduling by ITV and so I would be interested if it became available elsewhere.

Season 1&2 of The Americans is on Amazon Prime so I'd expect 3 to possibly join at some stage.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Amazon haven't got exclusive access to this series. However, the fact that Netflix hasn't picked this up is worrying.
