Which Epson? The more professional models tend to have better head capping than home models.

It's a professional model (Workforce Pro WP-4535) but that said, it's designed as a high-volume laser replacement rated for 700 pages a day so I'm surprised it handles light usage so well. I've probably done less than 700 pages in 3 years.
