TiVo : Tivo Apps and Red Button

Sorry if this has already been covered but i have just recently had Tivo installed. How do you get additional apps for this service. Do you have to install them yourself? and with the red button functions, when is it likely this will be available? Hopefully before the olympics, if not surely there will be a huge lack of missed content on the Tivo boxes for this event.

The apps get automatically added when they become available, all the available apps are in the apps and games menu.

They haven't said when the red button will become available, although they have said it will be before the Olympics. The upcoming update makes the red button possible, but they still need to build the apps.

Not currently, but a full red button/interactive service will be available by end of Q1 next year.

Weather and entertainment apps are available though.

We are working with our content partners to extend this with new Red Buttons services before the end of this year. We hope to have a full range of Red Button services early next year

It says red button services before the end of this year which most likely would be BBC and Sky Sports.
A full range would include QVC , Challenge , Cartoon Network etc.

Thanks for the info earlier, can anyone tell me the physical width (size) of the box? need to fit in with other units.cheers.

Length - 14.5 inches (370mm)
Width - 9.5 inches (240mm)
Depth - 2.5 inches (65mm)
