have i been sent the right hub for 30mb or 50 mb

Hi all can anyone confirm if i have been sent the correct kit by virgin media.

I am upgrading to 50mb as part of a new contract to start 25/2. in the meantime they have sent me a new hub for my 20mb.

It does not look like the one on the website.

the model number is VMDG280

That is the wrong one. You should have a VMDG480

called up and been advised that they will arrange for the unit to be changed, I am not too fussed as long as i have the right kit for the 25th for my 50mb upgrade.

He did advise that they can't do anything re 30mb at the moment.

will keep u all informed.

You need the VMDG480 for 30Mb as well!

All they have done is for some reason give him a hub for his 20Mb which I presume was not required anyway and the engineer will bring the Superhub on his 50Mb upgrade day, I cannot see the logic either.

If i hadn't called though no Superhub had been ordered lol

You dont order a superhub, it comes with the engineer, the dongle on the otherhand is an absolute lottery
