He has been with Virgin Media for 4 years -BB, TV and telephone. Last November he received a phone call from Virgin Media sales pushing the sale of the Super Hub, he ended up taking the offer.
He lost his job this week and decided to cancel the Virgin Media services and use a cheaper provider however he was told that he was now in a new contract because of the purchase of this super hub.
There was no mention of entering into a new contract when he purchased this super hub.
Is there a new contract when signing up for a super hub? and surely the sales man should have informed my son in law that there was a new contract?

Re: New contract with Super Hub - Not Happy!
I received a new contract when I upgraded free from 20mb to 60mb, however, I have recently received an apology email saying the new contract was sent in error.
No speed upgrade on the 10Mb M package and still on the 10Mb. The Super Hub was a load of rubbish and a lot worse than the old modem with a wireless router, connections constantly dropping.
Is it normal to go into a new contract with having a Super Hub? also I think he had to pay something like £30 to have this Super Hub.
