Can anyone help please. I have a Sky +HD box a Samsung HD TV with One Scart & One HDMI socket a Samsung DVD-SH897 DVD Recorder with One HDMI & Two Scart Sockets, also a Sony Surround Sound unit with One Scart Socket.

I have tried various methods of connections without success. I would obviously like to get the optimum picture quality and so connected the DVD recorder & the Sky box to the TV via two hdmi leads, a scart from the sony surround sound to the samsung dvd recorder - everything plays ok but I cannot get a picture signal source into the dvd recorder.
I know its a little tricky but there must be a solution hopefully. I dont know if a hdmi splitter would sort it?
