To Receive Free VM to VM calls on Pay Monthly 4G Sim Only Tariff

Sorry I am bringing this up again but the other thread has since been closed.

Can anyone tell me that the texting of 789444 with a landline number, is this only for Pay as you go only?

Reason for asking is that I received a auto text back right away from virgin talking about topping up.

Actually the texting of this 789444 is only for Pay as you go customers, Virgin I believe are trying to phase out free calls to Virgin mobiles.

They're not trying to phase it out. It's still mentioned on their main sales page!

You just need to make sure you've been put on the right tariff.

According to them I can't have this with the lowest tariff, I would need to go higher in which to receive free calls to Virgin Mobiles, it is not available on the £6 a month tariff.

Called them again, and she verified that I will receive free calls to virgin mobiles, strange though that the last girl didn't tell me this.

I can't see anything relating to this when I log into my online mobile account.

As far as I can recall, you should be able to see the minutes allowances in Your Account along side the data and text allowances.

It just has columns for inclusive, tariff, and minutes, no mention of Virgin Mobile minutes.

By the way I've been told by 150 that the 4G Pay Monthly Sim Only tariff does not include free mobile calls despite what it says on any webpage.

The VM app on my mobile gives two lines for airtime.
Inclusive Virgin mobile minutes (Unlimited )
and
Inclusive minutes (300 mins)

This is on 4G on the £6 tariff

Are you on pay monthly?
I ask because I was told that free calls to virgin mobiles are available on pay as you go but not on the pay monthly tariff.

Thanks for confirming, I got it finally fixed, it was due to an agent error who didn't tick the box to say I was already a virgin customer.
