Just wondering if any 02 mobile customers have experienced a sudden unexplained "spike" in their data usage in recent months according to 02?
There seems to be an issue whereby an 80% used warning is texted to the customer followed by another text (pretty much immediately) advising them that they have used all of their data bundle.
From what I've seen on other forums this appears to be pretty much unique to the 500mb data bundle users.
I'm contemplating a move from Vodafone but don't want to end up in what appears to be a moneypit as far as data is concerned.
Re: 02 - sudden unexplained increase in data usage?
Yes I noticed this too.
I've only browsed my hotmail emails and maybe 3 pages on facebook and I've been told already I've spent half my allowance.
Im really annoyed about this!
Re: 02 - sudden unexplained increase in data usage?
Funny you should mention that...
Since getting my Blackberry, I have used roughly 40MB a month (usually near a wifi hotspot) but this month I'm at almost 90MB. I admit I have downloaded a few more bits and pieces but I don't think I have used over 100% more data.
